OUTREACH MINISTRY

PURPOSE:   The Outreach Ministry was established to provide short term help to people in critical need of food, clothing and encouragement. Unlike some agencies that require their clients to go through daunting bureaucratic procedures, the FBC Outreach Ministry provides services to all who request our help without any qualification requirements. We refer our clients to other agencies for transitional housing and other services that we do not provide.  We strive to serve our community by example, in essence aiming to demonstrate the love, kindness and power of Jesus Christ through our actions.  Our goal is to serve all God’s people both nationally and internationally through our evangelistic and outreach efforts.

The Outreach Center plays an essential role in our outreach activities. The Center houses our food pantry, toiletries, clothing and other non-perishables. The Outreach Center is at times a gathering place and as such offers us an opportunity to share God’s Word with His people. The Center is staffed by a group of caring committed volunteers who are always ready to help in any possible way.

MEETINGS TIMES:   Meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month @ 9.00 a.m.  All are invited and the only requirement is a willingness and commitment to serve.
