Pastor Bowens is about to achieve a major milestone. Several activities are planned to commemorate Pastor Bowens’ 40th Pastoral Anniversary.

Anniversary activities will conclude with a 40th anniversary service on Sunday, October 6, 2024 @ 11:00 am.
40th Anniversary Book Signing Opportunity
You have the opportunity to provide a personal acknowledgement of this milestone for Pastor Bowens and Sister Debbie. The autograph book is located in the church foyer. Stop by and provide your acknowledgements from 9:30 to 10:45 am or immediately after the 11:00 am service.
40th Anniversary Revival
There will be a 40th Anniversary Revival held Monday – Wednesday, September 30 to October 2, 2024 @ 7:30 pm nightly. The guest speaker will be Rev. Abraham Mosley, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Athens, GA. Revival will be live-streamed.
40th Anniversary Dinner - Reservations are Closed at this Point. Prior Reservation Required to Attend
Join us for a special dinner celebration honoring Pastor & Sis. Debbie Bowens’ 40 years of dedicated service to our community!
This will be a catered sit-down dinner, with worship and wonderful music. A reservation is required but registration closed August 19, 2024. The 40th Pastoral Anniversary Celebration Dinner is – October 4, 2024, 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Dinner will be in the Friendship Baptist Church Family Life Center at 3375 Church Lane Duluth, GA 30096. Registration closed at midnight on August 19, 2024. Children are welcome and all attendees must have a reservation.
The dress code for the occasion is semi-formal to formal, so please dress accordingly to honor this special event.
