PURPOSE:

Friendship Baptist Church Family Life Center is to provide a holistic ministry that encompasses the whole man. The intent of the center promotes a Christian atmosphere that will enhance one’s character physically, socially, and spiritually.

The center is used by members of FBC as well as the wider community at no charge. The facilities include a fitness room with strength training equipment, a gymnasium, and a walking track. The Health Ministry plays a vital role in the activities offered. Members and non-members are offered free advice on dieting and healthy eating habits. The emphases of all the activities are geared to Exalting the Savior, Equipping Saints, and Evangelizing Sinners.

FBC Family Life Center also offers assistance in the area of technology: There is a computer lab, where individuals can learn how to use the computer. Pastor’s vision was to ensure the ministry assists individuals to become productive citizens. Interviewing skills and resume writing is also taught. The Family Life Center is FBC’s third major construction project since the completion of the Fellowship Hall.
