Who We Are
We are the first impression of Friendship Baptist Church — the face a person sees on arriving for worship. As greeters, we serve as the hosts of God’s house, ready to receive all who come through our doors.
We are friendly, outgoing, and ready with a big smile, eye contact, and a warm greeting for everyone we meet. Above all, we know that we stand as Christ’s representatives to every member and guest who joins us.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make every person feel genuinely welcomed, respected, and at home. We greet members and guests warmly, help them find their way, and stand ready to answer questions about our church and its ministries.
In all that we do, we reflect the love of Christ — serving each person with kindness, excellence, and a heart for others, and honoring God in even the smallest details.
Our Goal & Vision
Our vision is for no one to ever feel like a stranger at Friendship Baptist Church. We want every person — whether visiting for the first time or returning home after many years — to sense God’s love from the moment they arrive.
We pray that our welcome reflects the very heart of Christ, becoming a doorway through which people encounter Him. We serve so that all who join us would feel seen, valued, and embraced by our church family
